Betta Bubbles V.2

Hmmmmmmmm... The original felt thought-provoking and deep, whereas this one feels whimsical and imaginative. The cartoonish look of the girl is what made the biggest difference, I think.

The fish look great~! The texture on them is very light but nicely done, and it gives the colors a spiffy gradient quality. Also, this might sound weird, but I like the way you shaped their eyes. Perfectly round fish-eyes lack the liveliness these guys have. Also, they flow beautifully... it kind of reminds me of the fish segment of Fantasia~
... MAN that movie was weird.

I would suggest a solid color background-- what's there is so simple it might be better if no background was given. The green is good, but a little too light in this situation. The bright colors feel subdued against it.
... okay, I admit it, that girl is honking adorable. The textured sprays of red on her face puts redness in her cheeks that feels natural, and I love her blond eyebrows and the stitches in her clothes and her billowing hair~ She's a really well-done child, full of energy and fun, and she single-handedly creates the feel of this image.

Later that day the Fishes got caught in several airplane turbines and ended up killing hundreds.
