Graveyard, Scene iv- Lost Her by AugustRaes Graveyard, Scene iv- Lost Her by AugustRaes
... I needed a way to explain Daisy's death in my concentration.

... so... I had her be what rescued my character in the graveyard.

Not totally proud of it- but hey, I got it done and will probably fix it later on.

More colored pencils and prismacolors. This time on Illustration board.

... (sniffs)
I remember this sad time....... my heart still goes out to you, Rae... Aw, Daisy~

I would be proud of this picture, though, if I were you. The background is my favorite-- the way the objects look... well, they look almost like they've been cut out with an exactoknife, so the effect is really cool. It's negative space being used in a way I don't think I've seen it used before... and it really makes the graveyard feel like a lonesome, forbidding place.

The empty spaces where the cross-shaped markers ought to be are EPIC. :icondroolplz: There's a real, 3-D quality to them, even though they're absent without leave here. XD

The grass turned out looking pretty neat, especially around your character's feet (I really like the line quality on the grass under her feet!! But WHY?! :lmao: Probably because I struggle so much with grass and feet.)

The black eyes make the poor little crying figure look a little funny, tho. XD (CURSE YOU, STYLIZED ART! WHY AREN'T YOU WORKING LIKE I WANT YOU TO?!)
You can tell from this one image how much she's survived tonight... poor thing... and poor Daisy.
I like the variety of colors in cartoon-Rae's hair. 8D
